Acting on our guests’ and agents’ feedback regarding the Marataba Walking Trails Experience, we will include both walking and open-vehicle safaris in the daily schedule, with immediate effect . We believe this will offer the ‘Best of Both Worlds‘ in one of South Africa’s most remarkable reserves – walking in the morning, followed by a game drive and/ or Ms. Mara boat excursion in the afternoon.

It appears that many people are unaware of the ease of access into Marataba, with daily flights from/ to Johannesburg on Marataba’s Air Taxi. Marataba offers an Air Taxi Service in partnership with Angel Gabriel. The service operates from Grand Central Airport, with complimentary shuttles from/ to OR Tambo International and Lanseria Airports. As a drive to promote the convenience of the Marataba Air Taxi and raise awareness of the evolved Marataba Walking Trails ‘Best of Both Worlds‘ experienceat the same time, we have put together a promotion to add to the attraction of the deal.
From 04 April until 17 December 2017, guests who book three nights at Marataba Trails Lodge, will receive a complimentary one-way Marataba Air Taxi flight, or return road transfer.
