We are delighted to introduce our new brochure. The past two years, since the release of our last brochure, has seen a number of challenges for the African travel industry. At the ARP Travel Group, we looked at these challenges as opportunities.

We used this time to expand our fleet, including value additions in the vehicles. In Kenya, we added a number of new four-wheel drive vehicles. This is reflected in the number of scheduled safaris that now operate in four-wheel drive. We initiated training programmes across the group including, most importantly, our driver-guides.

We made substantial investment in our Serengeti Explorer Camp, purchasing custom designed tents with all new furnishing, installing solar energy, and sourcing all new linen and amenities.

We developed our Rafiki Explorer Club. The Club provides a variety of amenities that involve our young explorers including a unique, custom designed 24 page, age specific activity books and dedicated website. Rafiki has his own Twitter feed @rafikiexplorer, Facebook page, newsletter and dedicated website.

We launched a social media campaign with new Facebook pages, Twitter feeds, Pinterest photos, and a YouTube channel. We continue to offer our partners information through our partners’ website and offer a photo gallery for our partners’ marketing purposes with more than 5,000 high resolution photographs.

There have been many developments in East Africa since the last brochure and we have introduced a number of new programs to reflect this. We also negotiated a number of added values with our accommodation partners and reflected these within the new and existing adventures.
