NAIROBI, KENYA: The Cabinet Secretary for Tourism, Najib Balala, has appointed Ms. Jacinta Nzioka Mbithi as the Acting Managing Director, Kenya Tourism Board (KTB). The out-going Managing Director, Mr. Muriithi Ndegwa, who has been at the helm of KTB for slightly over six years, served two full terms.
Announcing the appointment, the Cabinet Secretary assured the tourism sector players of the commitment of his ministry to supporting all the institutions that are part of the implementation processes for a successful recovery of the sector. “We will fast-track all the administrative and policy issues that we have at hand to help us strengthen the performance of all the institutions under our ministry,’ said Balala.
