Wilderness Safaris has opened Qorokwe Camp, a new Classic Camp in Qorokwe Concession, bordering Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta, Botswana.
There are nine tented suites, one of which is a family unit with its own splash pool; a dining area; lounge; library; bar and infinity swimming pool. The camp operates on 100% solar power.

Qorokwe offers game drives, nature walks, boating and mokoro canoe trips, where guests can expect to see lions, spotted hyenas, wild dogs, cheetahs, leopards and elephants, amongst others.

“In our continuous quest for operating camps – and making a difference – in the best wildlife areas in Africa, the exclusive Qorokwe Concession has earned a well-deserved place in our ranks,” says Kim Nixon, Wilderness Safaris Botswana MD.

The camp is built from steel frames with panels to insulate against the heat and cold, canvas and timber decks. The site is next to a lagoon and the tented suites are raised off the ground to allow for views of the vegetation at the lagoon’s edge.
