Great Plains Conservation’s brand new Greater Mana Expedition program in the Sapi Concession will open 1 May 2018 as a 6 night program for travelers. 

The private 118,0000 hectare Sapi Concession (which has been awarded to Great Plains Conservation to manage and look after) and neighbouring Mana Pools National Park form part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This area also forms a core area of the middle-Zambezi biosphere reserve and together the two areas comprise of 337,600 hectares of prime protected wilderness estate and are recognised as one of the finest in Africa. With an estimated 80% to 85% of these two wildlife areas traversable only on foot, this is Africa’s dream walking safari destination.

The Greater Mana Expedition is a guaranteed departure 7-day/6-night expedition which explores both Mana Pools National Park and the private Sapi Concession. Departures run from May to November annually and guests are accommodated in tastefully, raised guest tents
complete with en-suite bathrooms including showers.

Each departure is limited to 6 guests and professional wildlife guides ensure guests a full, memorable and exciting experience. On nights 3 and 4 of this cross-concession adventure guests will sleep under the stars at the Sapi Starbeds, raised platforms with a second bedroom under the platform, built surrounding the source of the Sapi River.
