An African Anthology in conjunction with Africa Wild Lodges & Safaris, is delighted to announce the opening of Saguni Safari Lodge in the Khwai Conservancy bordering the Moremi Game Reserve which forms part of the Okavango Delta on 01 August 2018.
In line with the strategy and vision of An African Anthology and Africa Wild, this new lodge compliments both Elephant Valley Lodge in Chobe and Kadizora Camp in the Okavango Delta with its offering of affordable luxury. This is achieved through the choice of either our comfortable en-suite Forest Tents or our stunning en-suite Luxury River Tents, allowing guests to cater for their respective budgets whilst still being able to experience the Khwai region.
The lodge itself is situated on the banks of the Sable River and all main areas including our lookout bar, overlook the myriad of hippo pools with impressive tree lines and abundant game and bird life.
The lodge comprises of 9 Forest Tents, 8 Luxury River Tents and 1 Guide Room, an elevated viewing bar, dining area, lounge area and swimming pool.
Activities include game drives in the Khwai conservancy, bush walks, mokoro’s and boating. Additional game drives within the Moremi Game Reserve are available by arrangement and attract a park entrance fee. Entrance to the park is either by road and takes approximately 2.5 hours from Maun or alternatively the Khwai airstrip is a 20-minute drive from the lodge where we will collect your guests should they fly in.
The Khwai area is world renowned for its abundant wildlife and birdlife and this strategic location of Saguni in this wildlife mecca ensures that Africa Wild can now proudly offer a circuit of lodges in prime game viewing areas in Botswana.
