Lucinda Kerschensteiner, MBA, is the Founder of Uhambo USA, a nonprofit that is dedicated to
supporting children with disabilities in Africa through its partner organization, the Uhambo Foundation of South Africa. Lucinda felt compelled to support the work of Uhambo after conducting project work in southern Africa for her graduate program, being inspired by the organization’s social entrepreneurial approach and touched by the large unmet needs for children with disabilities. Lucinda’s career has been dedicated to the social sector – working with nonprofits, social enterprises and change agents. In addition to running Uhambo USA, she also is the director of a coworking space for nonprofits. She is a proud graduate of Colorado State University’s Global Social Sustainable Enterprise (GSSE) MBA and was in their first cohort. Lucinda lives in Fort Collins with her husband where she enjoys all of the usual Colorado activities.
