This phenomenal level of positive media coverage is driving a massive increase in demand for Malawi on the back of the transformation of its wildlife that has been on-going for a few years. With the largest elephant translocation in history already completed, last year has seen lions moved into Liwonde (to join the cheetahs from the previous year) and more into Majete, along with giraffe. And African Parks aren’t finished yet, with even more translocations planned for 2019.
If Malawi had a perceived weakness in its tourism products it was the wildlife. But all that is now changing rapidly. With ever improving safaris to add to the already stunning landscapes, fantastic cultural interaction and wonderful Lake,  Malawi is becoming perhaps the most complete destination in Africa!
