Ethiopian Airlines will introduce flights from JFK Airport, New York’s main international gateway, to complement its service from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). ET513 will depart JFK Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:00pm for the overnight flight to Abidjan, arriving in Cote D’Ivoire at 12:05pm the next day. After an hour stopover, the Boeing 787-8 aircraft continues on to Addis Ababa, arriving at 10:20pm. Newark/EWR will continue to serve Addis Ababa via Lomé, Togo, increasing to a four-times-weekly schedule once the JFK service begins. In related news the start date for the new Washington, D.C. — Abidjan — Addis Ababa service, originally scheduled for June 9, will now take place June 20.
