The inaugural flight from Addis Ababa via Lome, Togo touched down Monday evening at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). This is the fifth U.S. gateway city for Africa’s largest carrier, joining Washington, D.C. (IAD), Newark (EWR), Chicago (ORD) and New York City (JFK). The flight operates thrice weekly from Houston on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. As an introductory offer, the airline is running a 20% off limited-time fare sale from Houston to destinations in Africa. Tickets must be purchased before 12/23/2019 for travel between 12/31/2019 to 01/07/2020 (applicable on ET 547 only; terms & conditions apply).
