Are you thinking about doing an EcoTraining course, and want to know what to expect from the camps and reserves? Take a look at this Pridelands VIDEO to learn more about the EcoTraining experience and camps from their Courses or a Gap Year in the wild.
Situated in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, north of the Hoedspruit Airforce base, Pridelands Conservancy, a former hunting farm, presents a magnificent example of intact vegetation of Combretum woodland.
In September 2017, the fences between Pridelands and the Greater Kruger National Park (GKNP) were dropped making Pridelands part of the Great Kruger National Park adding 2000 ha of land and extending the habitat for animals.
Since the fences have been dropped, a variety of wildlife from members of the big five to wild dogs and hyenas have been seen on the Conservancy. During the rainy season the dam in front of camp forms a waterhole teeming with wildlife including elephants and buffalo.
If you love nature and wildlife and want to grow your knowledge through amazing practical experiences enroll in one of EcoTraining’s wildlife courses. Courses offer a variety of educational wilderness immersion for anyone one who wants to learn more about the natural world around us. Choose from the various courses, whether it be a specialist career course or a shorter wildlife course, all programs will help improve your knowledge and leave you feeling reawakened and reconnected.
