International hotel group Habitas has debuted in Africa with the opening of its new hotel, Habitas Namibia, in Windhoek this month.

There are 15 guest rooms, with each custom-built private lodge located along the ridge of a hillside. A private villa on the property sleeps ten. The communal areas include a restaurant, fire pits, swimming pool, library, spa and areas for relaxing.

Habitas Spokesperson, Juliet Fairbrother, listed the guest activities, which include safari drives and animal tracking, safari walks led by local San people, cooking and medicinal plant workshops, outdoor cinema experiences featuring educational films and documentaries, conservation activities, live local music gatherings, and yoga and local meditation techniques.

Habitas Namibia is 45 minutes from Windhoek’s Hosea Kutako International Airport.

Habitas, founded by Oliver Ripley, Kfir Levy and Eduardo Castillo, is known for its globally curated experiences that focus on bringing people together around wellness, food and music to form a deeper connection with themselves, others, and nature.
