Airlink will resume scheduled air services to and from Skukuza Airport in the Kruger National Park, with effect from Thursday, January 28.

The airport was temporarily closed on January 14, after a local outbreak of COVID-19 in the nearby Lower Sabie rest camp.

A media release said Airlink flights would operate on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays until February 28. From March 1 they will operate daily.

Airlink continues to operate flights to Hoedspruit and Nelspruit KMI Airport, the two closest alternatives for travellers planning to visit the Kruger National Park or other resorts and camps in the surrounding area.
