Uganda Announces Extension of Discounted Park and Permit Fees

In a move to restart tourism, Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) have announced an extension of promotional pricing from March to June 2021.

NATIONAL PARK FEES

50% discount on park entrance fees for Lake Mburo National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kidepo Valley National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, Semuliki National Park, Toro Semuliki Wildlife Reserve, Katonga Wildlife Reserve, Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve and Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve.

BIRDING

50% discount on Birding fees.

GORILLA & CHIMPANZEE PERMITS

East African Citizens – Gorilla Permit UGX 150,000 Chimpanzee Permits UGX 100,000

Foreign Residents – Gorilla Permit USD $300   Chimpanzee Permits $100

Foreign Non Residents – Gorilla Permit USD $400 Chimpanzee Permits $150

Please note the reduction on gorilla and chimpanzee permits will ONLY apply to new purchases between 1^st April – 30^th June 2021and not on reschedules of already deposited permits.
