Exciting news from Liwonde National Park , as 3 new lion cubs are born and identified in the Chinguni Pride!

A statement from the team at the Park stated that they have been working hard to confirm successful breeding in this pride after witnessing multiple mating events.
“Tracking lions in the green season, however, isn’t easy, especially as females give birth in secluded areas with dense cover to keep their cubs hidden from predators. After a lot of patience, track identification and camera trapping, they managed to get a quick sighting! Soon, these three little ones will be introduced to the rest of the pride where they will begin to form lasting bonds and learn vital life skills,” it added.
