Following a promising summer season of tourism business recovery in Tanzania, the health and safety of our clients and our team continues to remain our highest priority.

We are therefore happy to let you know that as of August 2021, the entire operations team at Takims Holidays have been voluntarily vaccinated.  This includes our safari guides in Arusha and Dar es Salaam as well as our guides in Zanzibar.

The safety of our team and our guests has always been our number one priority.  All our safaris are operated with a private vehicle and private guide, which makes them naturally socially distant.  We have provided our team with additional training to ensure effective hygiene protocols are observed such as  hand sanitizing and mask wearing.

Traveling to Tanzania and Zanzibar is a smooth process now with PCR tests available in Serengeti, Zanzibar, Arusha and Dar es Salaam to ensure guests are prepared for their return flights back home.  Our team is able to assist with all the operational planning to ensure test results are received on a timely basis.

Did you know that the PCR testing facilities are also following the wildebeest migration?  They are currently available in Kogatende and will be available in Ndutu between the December and March calving season.

For any other questions regarding the current situation in Tanzania, or our health and safety protocols, please feel free to get in touch.
