With great excitement, Congo Conservation Company announces the reopening on 1st July 2022 of the renovated Lango Camp. From your kayaking-and-wading arrival, to forest and baï walks, cooling off in the streams, to watching a multitude of animals and birds from the deck, sundowners, star gazing – this camp’s location is what makes it superb.

Congo Conservation Company has spent the last few months renovating and upgrading their gorilla tracking camp, Ngaga. It’s still reminiscent of the playful treehouses of childhood dreams, but is lighter, brighter and fresher than ever before.

  • The main deck has been completely redone with brand-new wood (treated with a carbon-negative salts blend to reduce the impact of bugs, borers and termites, and the forest elements).
  • The walkways between the rooms have also been replaced, as well as the outside decks.
  • The rooms have had a refresh of the interiors and there are new beds, mozzie nets and beautiful wooden headboards.

Mboko Camp and Sangha Lodge are open and welcoming guests with great feedback!

2023 RATES

Aside from a small increase across the board, the rate structures, inclusions and exclusions remain the same.

NOTE: 2023 rates are only valid until 15 September 2023. This makes way for some exciting developments planned for the end of the year, including extensive investment in a new northern circuit in Nouabale-Ndoki National Park.

Stay tuned for further updates but for now, please have a look at our 2022 and 2023 rates and special offers. This will be your last chance to book Odzala Discovery Camps and Sangha Lodge at the current rates before an increase in 2024.
