Travel company, RETURNAfrica, has taken over the Pafuri Walking Trails previously run by Wilderness Safaris. The Pafuri Walking Trails season will be open from April 1 to October 31 in the private Makuleke Concession in the northern Kruger National Park. The trail is a three-night, four-day experience, guided by an experienced field guide. Highlights of the hiking trails include the views over Lanner Gorge, the Luvuvhu fever tree forest and Crook’s Corner. Peter John Massyn, CEO of RETURNAfrica, said he hoped the company would offer a fresh approach to the marketplace, with community being at the heart of the company’s business model. “We recently acquired various Pafuri-related tourism experiences from Wilderness Safaris, and we are extremely passionate about taking Pafuri to a new level,” said Massyn. In addition, RETURNAfrica will also market and sell products in Namibia and Mozambique that have a strong community linkage. RETURNAfrica is a world-class travel company that partners with local communities to brand, market and manage a collection of high-quality experiences at iconic destinations in southern Africa.Click here to read more.
