Effective July 1, 2015, visas can be applied for online before arrival to Kenya. Visitors can still obtain visas on arrival at their port of entry until the end of August 31st, 2015. Until then, travelers have the option to either apply online or to obtain their visa upon arrival. For arrivals after September 1, 2015, all visas MUST be applied for online. The email approval after online application and payment will take about seven (7) days, hence visitors using the online system will need to make their visa application well in advance.
