Wilderness Safaris’ new privately-guided, experience-based Wilderness Safaris Explorations provides guests with the opportunity to immerse themselves completely in some of Africa’s most pristine and remote wilderness areas.

“We are delighted to launch three new Explorations in Botswana and an exciting walking safari in Hwange, Zimbabwe”, said Simon Stobbs, Wilderness Safaris Explorations Manager. “Rather than simply being spectators, today’s experiential travellers tend to seek out highly-personalised offerings, that allow them to participate in the adventure. Our Explorations, most of which take place in private wildlife concessions exclusive to Wilderness Safaris guests, have been created with this in mind and include a range of activities that allow our guests to experience the bush in a completely immersive way – whether it’s tracking wildlife on foot, or enjoying a dinner in the middle of the wilderness”.

Each exclusive Exploration is led by one passionate and experienced guide from start to finish, sharing his or her in-depth knowledge. The journey is tailored to the personal interests and preferences of the guests along the way. “Added to this, our guides are accomplished wildlife photographers in their own right, and are keen to share their tips and experience, to ensure that guests capture that perfect image to show their friends and family back home”, adds Stobbs.

Explorations are limited to just seven guests per departure, guaranteeing an intimate, personal experience, as well as a “window seat” on game-drive vehicles. With no single supplement for new bookings, Explorations are also a great option for solo travellers, while a minimum of two guests are required for each trip. Click Here for more detail.
