The 2017 brochure showcases a newly-designed nine-day “Zimbabwe Highlights” tour, which takes guests on a discovery of the country’s highlights, combining places of natural beauty, such as Lake Kariba, the Eastern Highlands and Hwange National Park, with places of historical significance, namely the Great Zimbabwe Ruins and Matobo National Park.
The Botswana offering has also been augmented with two new exciting tours. The seven-day “Botswana Explorer” will take guests on an adventure trail through the untamed northern parts of Botswana, while the eight-day “Best of Botswana & Namibia” tour offers guests a wildlife exploration trip through Botswana’s much-loved Okavango Delta and Chobe Park and also showcases the northern extremes of Namibia with its lush Mahango Game Park, Zambezi region and Popa Falls.
Ardent Kruger Park fans will be delighted at the addition of two new guided tours travelling to the area. “Kruger to the Cape” gives visitors a veritable “crash tour” of South Africa, allowing them to experience a balance of the country’s major regions over an eight-day period. The new “Kruger Park Explorer” tour provides the ideal way to experience the Kruger wilderness in a somewhat shorter time-frame of four days.
Springbok Atlas Tours & Safaris has added the charming little village of Prince Albert into the itinerary of Garden Route tours travelling between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, and meerkat safaris taking place in Oudtshoorn will add even more excitement to Springbok’s classic Garden Route tours.
