After several months of works, our brand-new Mara River Post camp, located on the banks of the Mara River in the northern Serengeti region called Kogatende, opened its doors to our customers on June the 24th; 2017 with a limited number of units (8 rooms in soft opening).
The tents are equipped with an ensuite shower room with hot water and private toilets, all in an elegant and authentic atmosphere. The thatched roofs ensure a comfortable temperature inside the tents even during the hottest seasons. In the main building, our guests are pampered with excellent meals and it is even possible for the lucky ones to witness the wildebeest crossing the river while having lunch. The northern part of the Serengeti around the Mara River is a highlight of a safari in Tanzania. The richness of the fauna and flora is incomparable. The Mara River is never dry and the chances of seeing wild animals abound. It is particularly famous for its spectacular and sometimes dramatic scenes which take place between June and September, where millions of wildebeest meet to cross the river trying to survive the attacks of crocodiles.
