Virtuoso recently honored its top destination, cruise, lifestyle, member and advisor partners at Virtuoso Travel Week in Las Vegas, drawing a record-breaking 5,760 travel professionals from 103 countries. The event also saw the debut of Virtuoso’s inaugural Community Globetrotting event, focusing on adventure travel, cruising, wellness, and – for the first time this year – family travel, in an initiative to bring together Virtuoso advisors and partners in specific travel categories. 1,200 Virtuoso advisors and 135 partners participated.

The Pinto Family/Micato Safaris were named Destinations & Experiences Ambassadors of the Year, and during the Virtuoso Active and Specialty Travel (VAST) Award ceremony, Micato Safaris were named Best VAST Partners.

 “Ours is an industry that is based on relationships, and the incredible relationship we have with our partners like Micato Safaris allow our advisors to consistently delight their clients,” said Albert Herrera, Virtuoso’s senior vice president of Global Product Partnership. “The Destination Showcase Awards allow us to shine the spotlight on these amazing partners and thank them for their continued support of our network.”   Micato Safaris received its nomination from an elected committee of top Virtuoso travel advisors, and excelled in the voting process that engaged the network’s nearly 9,000 travel advisors.
