It’s no accident that Nomad Tanzania’s Entamanu Ngorongoro and Serengeti Safari Camp are open all year round.
Although April/May is often a time of year overlooked by travellers, this season is a truly remarkable hidden gem in the safari calendar. At this time of year, there are far fewer visitors, the wildlife is as extraordinary as ever and the scenery remains downright astonishing.
There’s nothing we Nomads like more than a stretch of unspoilt wilderness, largely devoid of other people and this is where to find it.
Award-winning photographer, Chris Schmid, recently joined us on a safari to experience this time of year at first hand.
