On the 1st of July 2018, Lanzerac Hotel & Spa will reopen after a year-long regeneration journey that has seen the Hotel being restored to its former grandeur following a devastating fire in 2017. Like the fynbos endemic to the Cape, which rejuvenates by fire every few years, this iconic landmark is now blooming with enhanced guest experiences.

On arrival at this 326 year-old working wine estate on the outskirts of historic Stellenbosch, visitors will be received in the elegant Governor’s Hall, with its exposed truss ceilings, spectacular chandeliers and two fireplaces that will certainly provide a warm welcome for the winter opening.

From reception, guests will be ushered past the historic Manor House and through lush gardens to one of the Hotel’s 53 exquisitely styled rooms or suites, all of which reflect the rich history of the Estate, but with contemporary influences carefully blended in. Space and privacy are inherent elements of every room and no two are alike, with each room having been decorated with sophisticated touches and a unique selection of timeless pieces. The lavishness extends to the marble en-suite bathrooms, which are all extremely generous in size and feature a luxurious slipper bath looking out onto the Estate.
