It is time to give boring teambuilding the boot! Mabula Game Lodge’s Wild Playzone will encourage collaboration and teamwork with fun activities that will help your team members see each other in a different light allowing them to connect in a different setting. The iconic Mabula Game Lodge has created a fabulous Active Space right next to the newly refurbished tennis court and Kids Zone. In line with the recent refashioning of this safari resort favourite, various upgrades at the lodge include the Playzone for adults and children alike.
“The burgeoning trend towards a more active holiday experience led us to consider the offering for relaxing sporting activities we had and after thorough research, we decided to embark on the re-development of our tennis courts and kids’ playground areas. Clearly, this was the way to go as the feedback from recent guests who experienced activities at the Wild Playzone was outstanding” says Wouter Pienaar General Manager Operations Extraordinary Resorts.
The Playzone is specifically designed for multiple sports including action soccer, netball, and cricket on a perfectly designed AstroTurf court fully enclosed by netting. These great sporting activities are a fantastic way to relax, bond and have a great time, whilst on safari. In addition, Mabula Game Lodge offers a host of teambuilding activities at the Wild Playzone as well as activities in the Lodge such as an Amazing Race, Potjie Cook-off and Murder Mystery Dinners just to name a few.
The Wild Playzone has a large exclusive play area for kids that is a safe, unique and inspires, educates & empowers kids. It has a track for bikes and scooters and a climbing area where they will slide, swirl, jump, scream and stay jovial all day.
Cindy Sheedy-Walker, CEO of Sales and Marketing for the Extraordinary Group, which owns Mabula Game Lodge says that she is delighted with the remodelling. “Over the past two years, Mabula has undergone a beautiful transformation, which has gradually repositioned the lodge at a more luxurious level. Everything from the lodge’s entrance, to the reception, lounge, rooms, boma, pool area, outdoor terrace area, curio store, spa, conservation and reserve projects have been given a magical restyling and the result is nothing short of miraculous.”
