Next Pathology will open its rapid PCR testing facility at Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport on Thursday, August 5.
The testing centre promises a swift turnaround time of only two hours for delivery of results.
It is situated in the Kafue Room on the ground floor of the InterContinental Hotel, OR Tambo, which is outside the international arrivals hall.
Jacky Maulgue, Sales Manager of Next Pathology’s Hospitality Division, says the centre will be open seven days a week, and its operational hours will be from 06h00 to 22h00. Bookings and walk-ins will be accepted, but she warns that groups of 10 or more will need to book beforehand.
Travel certificates will be issued by email and SMS.
Cost of the tests will be R2 000 (€115) per person.
