Navigating a turbulent period
Launched at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Lift has, according to Ayache, managed to navigate a turbulent two years in the domestic airline industry. Remaining sustainable has also played a big role in the airline’s growth.
“We have and will continue to add capacity and new routes gradually and responsibly, as operating sustainably is critical to our business model and the industry as a whole,” commented Ayache.
This announcement follows the launch of Lift’s route between Johannesburg and Durban on October 26.
