Premium lodge collective Singita has added an exclusive-use five-bedroomed villa, Singita Milele, to its offerings in the Serengeti.
Situated on the top of Sasakwa Hill, in the national park’s Grumeti Reserve, the residence features individually designed suites, named Journey, Pride, Coalition, Dazzle and Crash, paying tribute to the Serengeti’s iconic wildlife, namely giraffe, lion, cheetah, zebra and rhino.
Each room features outdoor showers, a bar-deli, private deck and en suite bathroom, but each has its own layout and features, including lounge areas, dressing rooms and workspaces.
Shared living spaces, spread across the property, include a cinema room, fitness centre, heated spa pools, a rim-flow swimming pool, an outdoor sala and a boma and fire pit.
The residence is furnished with contemporary African art and curated design pieces by local artisans.
Guests are allocated their own host, dedicated field guides, chefs and a full lodge team, with the all-inclusive safari experience entirely tailored to wants and requirements. Options include flexible meal times, private game drives and bush walks, along with meaningful visits to experience the work of the Grumeti Fund, Singita’s non-profit conservation partner in Tanzania.
Private wine tastings are available, guided by a world-class sommelier showcasing Singita’s collection of award-winning wines in Milele’s cellar.
The villa is located on the world-renowned annual migration route and offers guests a front row seat to one of nature’s greatest spectacles on the 350 000-acre reserve.
“Singita Milele’s generous spaces and easy flow, combined with the rich inspiration it draws from Grumeti and its wildlife, embody the ultimate sense of freedom,” said Georgie Pennington, Group Head of Creative Direction at Singita.
