The Tanzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO) is excited to announce its participation in the MATKA Nordic Travel Fair in Helsinki, Finland, from 16th to 19th January 2025. TATO will be represented by 14 co-exhibitors, including safari and trekking operators, Zanzibar tour specialists, activity providers, and accommodation suppliers, all promoting Tanzania as a premier travel destination. Located at Hall 7, Booth #7f128 in Messukeskus Centre, TATO’s innovative stand will offer visitors the opportunity to explore Tanzania’s world-class tourism offerings—from the iconic Serengeti plains and majestic Mount Kilimanjaro to the turquoise waters of Zanzibar and culturally immersive experiences.
Following MATKA, the TATO team will proceed to FITUR Madrid, Spain, from 22nd to 24th January 2025. As a proud UN TOURISM Affiliate Member, TATO will actively engage in the UN TOURISM Affiliate Members Corner session titled “Targeting Traveler Segments” on Friday, 24th January 2025, from 11:00 to 13:00, at Pavilion 10, IFEMA.
This strategic mission will be led by a high-level delegation, including TATO Chairman Mr. Wilbard Chambulo, alongside TATO Board Director and Chairlady of TATO Tourism Reboot, Mrs. Vesna Glamocanin Tibaijuka.
