Joshua Nyiera is a distinguished tourism executive with more than 30 years of experience shaping Africa’s travel landscape. A passionate advocate for sustainable and high-quality tourism, Joshua has been instrumental in positioning Kenya as a world-class destination. His leadership extends across the public and private sectors, where he is a trusted voice in policy development, stakeholder engagement, and community-driven tourism growth.
He currently serves as Treasurer and Board Member of the Kenya Association of Tour Operators (KATO), Chair of its Finance Subcommittee, and Board Member of the Kenya Tourism Federation (KTF). A Member of the Association of Business Executives (MABE), Joshua is also the immediate past President of Kenya’s ASTA Chapter.
