KLM will add three weekly Cape Town flights to its schedule ahead of its 30th anniversary on the route.
From November 1, it will offer 10 weekly services between Cape Town and Amsterdam. The additional flights will complement the current seven daily services, which leave Amsterdam at 10h30 and depart from Cape Town at midnight.
The Cape Town services are operated with a combination of aircraft – the B777-300, the B777-200, and the B787-900 Dreamliner.
KLM recently began installing its new premium economy cabin on the Dreamliner, set to be completed on all its 787-900 aircraft by March 2023.
The additional flights to Cape Town will be operated with the Dreamliner, meaning there will be more premium economy seating available on the route.
