Glee Hotel, a new 211-room five-star hotel in Nairobi, will open in the first quarter of next year.
Guest rooms will be categorised as Deluxe, Executive, and Presidential Suite. The Deluxe rooms will offer a king bed (convertible to twin beds), a bathtub and shower, and views of the garden or swimming pool.
The Executive rooms feature a living room with a TV, washroom, and a small dining table. The rooms include a king-size bed, a double vanity, a bathtub and shower, a half bath for visitors, and a living room with views of the garden or swimming pool.
The Presidential suite, has three executive bedrooms, a private pool, a living room, a 12-person dining room, a grand piano, an office, a private elevator, and a mini kitchen and pantry.
The hotel’s restaurants include an all-day-dining venue in bright, glamorous, modern Parisian style, a coffee lounge with indoor and outdoor seating, a fine-dining steakhouse restaurant with an open grill and terrace, a Jazz Bar and a Rooftop Bar with indoor and outdoor options, and an Executive Lounge dedicated to premium business guests.
Other facilities include a nightclub, a VIP Lounge with private rooms, eight meeting and conference rooms accommodating up to 1 000 delegates, Events Gardens, a gym, spa, and salon. There is also a kids’ and teens’ centre with a games lounge, a swimming pool with a bar, and a skywalk that traverses the original trees and bushes of the property.
The hotel is situated along the Northern Bypass, on the outer suburb of Nairobi behind Runda Estate. It is less than 30 kilometres from Jomo-Kenyatta International Airport and Wilson Airport.
