Federal Airlines has announced the expansion of its fleet with the addition of two state-of-the-art Pilatus PC-12 NG aircraft.
Each aircraft’s cabin interior offers spacious seating arrangements, large windows for panoramic views, and quiet flying conditions.
These additions to its fleet, which can land on shorter airstrips, mean guests will have quicker and more direct access to luxury game lodges in Africa and South African vacation destinations in the bush or on the coast.
“The new Pilatus PC-12 NG aircraft, ZS-OKA, and ZS-TWF that we have recently added to our pressurised fleet will primarily be used on our Private Charter network. Both aircraft are currently online,” Nicole Schickerling, Commercial GM – Shuttle at Federal Airlines told Travel News.
Schickerling added that these aircraft are perfectly suited to offer fast, pressurised service to small friend and family groups, high-end leisure clients, corporate travellers, and private individuals visiting South Africa’s private luxury safari lodges and various destinations across the country from key tourism gateways.
“Due to its operational versatility and performance in regional conditions, the PC-12NG is ideal not only for domestic flights but also for travel across the African continent. The added comfort of its beautiful interior and onboard lavatory enhances the travel experience,” Schickerling said.
“With this new addition to our PC-12 fleet, we continue expanding our offerings, providing fully customisable private charters tailored to guests’ needs and, most importantly, saving valuable time. This enhancement improves the travel experience for FedAir guests, making it easy and comfortable for them to reach all destinations.”
