Complimentary flights open access to wilderness safari experiences
Nomad Tanzania today announced two flight specials that enhance access to some of Tanzania’s most remote and rewarding wilderness areas. These journeys invite travellers to explore beyond well-known safari routes into the less-visited southern and western regions, where authentic wilderness experiences await.
Western Tanzania: Katavi and Mahale Mountains
The 7-night Western Tanzania combination offers distinct contrasts: three nights at Chada, Katavi – a classic bush camp in a remote national park known for extraordinary wildlife concentrations, followed by four nights at Greystoke, Mahale on the shores of Lake Tanganyika, where guests trek through forests to encounter wild chimpanzees.
Southern Tanzania: Ruaha and Nyerere National Parks
The 7-night Southern Tanzania safari combines three nights at Kigelia in Ruaha with four nights at Sand Rivers in Nyerere National Park. Kigelia sits in the wildlife-rich eastern sector of Ruaha, where guests can explore on foot and by vehicle across diverse landscapes dotted with baobabs.
At Sand Rivers, perched above the Rufiji River, visitors experience a vast wilderness through game drives, walking safaris, and complimentary fly-camping experiences under the stars, all in a quieter sector of the park away from day visitors.
Flight benefits to note
Both safari itineraries now include significant flight benefits:
– The Western Tanzania itinerary of Chada and Greystoke, features free return flights to Arusha as part of Nomad’s Western Schedule – saving $1,890 per person.
Pick up supps do apply but this can be discussed at the time of booking.
– The Southern Tanzania itinerary includes free return scheduled flights to Dar es Salaam and inter-camp transfers – saving approx. $1,060 per person. This offer does not apply to inducement flights.
