As of June 2025, Cottar’s Safaris in the Maasai Mara has completed a series of thoughtful updates, including four new family tents, a secluded honeymoon tent at Cottar’s 1920s Camp, and a full redesign of Cottar’s Bush Villa.
New Family Tents
Each features two en-suite bedrooms, a shared lounge with a wood-burning stove, and a generous deck with sweeping views across the savannah.
With flexible bed configurations, a dedicated guide and vehicle, and complimentary babysitting for families, the new family tents reflect the thoughtful, personal approach that defines Cottar’s Safaris. Up to two children under 13 stay on a complimentary basis in the private season.
New Honeymoon Hideaway
Tucked away in complete seclusion, the Kiboko tent is designed for couples seeking quiet luxury. Featuring a private wood-fired hot tub, indoor and outdoor showers, and an expansive deck with breathtaking savannah views. Special couples offer: 50% off for one person during the private season.
