Safarilink Aviation has unveiled a series of significant schedule changes for 2026—including a brand-new connection between Nairobi’s Wilson Airport and Entebbe—strengthening regional connectivity across East Africa and providing improved travel options for both leisure and business passengers.
New Nairobi–Kisumu–Entebbe Service Launching December 15, 2025
Beginning 15 December 2025, Safarilink will introduce a new scheduled service linking Wilson → Kisumu → Entebbe → Kisumu → Wilson with convenient same-day connections.
According to the schedule announcement (page 3), the morning Entebbe service will operate daily, departing:

Wilson → Kisumu at 08:00, arriving 08:45

Kisumu → Entebbe at 09:45, arriving 10:50

Entebbe → Kisumu at 11:15, arriving 12:00

Kisumu → Wilson at 12:45, arriving 13:30
A second evening service will operate four times weekly—Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday—beginning 10 January 2026, with departures from Wilson at 15:30 and onward connections through Kisumu and Entebbe. (page 5)
This new routing enhances seamless travel between Kenya and Uganda, enabling same-day movement for safari travelers, tour operators, and regional business passengers.
Arusha Replaces Kilimanjaro on Daily Service
Safarilink also confirmed that, effective 1 December 2025, its daily service previously operating between Wilson and Kilimanjaro (JRO) will shift to Arusha (ARK). (page 3)
The flight timings remain unchanged:

All customers who had bookings on the former JRO route will be automatically re-accommodated to the new Arusha schedule.
New Mara Connectivity via Migori & Kisumu
Expanding connectivity for safari travelers, Safarilink announced a new Masai Mara → Migori → Kisumu routing during high season, operating daily. (page 5)
This route provides a streamlined link between the Mara and western Kenya, enabling smoother onward travel to both inland and international destinations.
Zanzibar Schedule Updated for 2026
From 9 January through 30 June 2026 and 1 November through 20 December 2026, Safarilink will operate the following revised schedule between Mombasa and Zanzibar (page 5):

Zanzibar → Mombasa at 10:15

Mombasa → Wilson at 12:00
Flights between Mombasa and Zanzibar will run Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
