APTA is pleased to welcome Kafunta Safaris (Zambia) as its newest member, ahead of the APTA Global Forum taking place in Livingstone this September.
Kafunta Safaris is a family-owned safari operator based in South Luangwa National Park, where it has been hosting guests for close to 30 years. The company is known for its focus on authentic safari experiences, highly skilled guiding, and for showcasing the exceptional wildlife and landscapes of South Luangwa — a region widely recognised as the birthplace of the walking safari and recently featured in the BBC series Kingdom.
Their portfolio includes Kafunta River Lodge, overlooking game-rich floodplains; Three Rivers Camp, set on a broad stretch of the Luangwa River; Island Bush Camp, offering a secluded and classic back-to-the-wild experience; and The Sunset House, a three-bedroom private safari house designed for families and friends.
As a new APTA member, Kafunta Safaris looks forward to engaging with the African specialists community at the Global Forum in Livingstone and to welcoming members to South Luangwa in the future.
