Shamwari Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape has undergone soft refurbishments of two of its 5 star lodges – Riverdene Family Lodge and Sarili Lodge.
Riverdene Family Lodge and Sarili Lodge have seen soft refurbishments, to improve on the existing luxury five star standards, by Grahamstown based Interior decorator, Tracy Mills Interiors. Interior refurbishments have been completed at the main lodge areas of Riverdene Lodge, rooms as well as the exterior pool area adding to the relaxed experience afforded to guests. A palette of fresh, yet earthy, tones run throughout the new décor style in order to blend with the environment.
Bathrooms have been enhanced with new lighting being a key element and bedrooms offer new bespoke sofas and extra length beds. Pool loungers and outdoor pool furniture have been added and landscaping has been restyled around the pool area and rooms.
Sarili Lodge has also benefited from interior refurbishments to the main lodge and dining room area such as sofas and chairs in the main lounge area and a bespoke buffet counter. Adding to guests’ convenience there is now a new shop cabinet selling Shamwari memorabilia and clothing.
Comments General Manager, Gunther Strauss: “Commitment of exterior and interior improvements and refurbishments continue here at Shamwari Game Reserve in order to enhance each five star lodge and to create a unique and memorable experience, which in turn adds to a philosophy of sustainability from an ecological and hospitality perspective.”
