A lion cub was welcomed to the pride at Liwonde National Park. This is the first cub to be born at the park since lions were reintroduced to the park in 2018. A partnership between African Parks and Department of National parks has seen the re-introduction of iconic species such as the cheetah and lions at the Park. These conservation initiatives have not only enriched wildlife viewing at the park but also offered a promising future for big cats in the country.
