EcoTraining is offering travel industry professionals a 500 Rand (US$29) discount on an upcoming fully accredited FGASA course as well as a further 1,500 Rand discount (US$87) for those who have already earned their guide’s license but feel the need or have the time for a refresher. The regular price for this highly popular EcoTraining course is roughly 9,000 Rand (US$520).

“A Comprehensive Introduction to Field Guiding” is an eight-week online course that covers all 17 FGASA Apprentice Guide modules including theory reviews, workbook support, and theory assessments.

Experienced instructors deliver the program via live interactive lectures, which include videos, graphics and quizzes. The syllabus covers a broad spectrum of subjects including ecology, animal behavior, conservation management, and more.
