KWS and Narok County Council have jointly recommended revised entrance fees for the Masai Mara National Reserve, as well as all KWS-managed parks, reserves, sanctuaries, and marine reserves. This adjustment aims to enhance the effective preservation of these natural areas for the enjoyment of future generations.

Masai Mara – move from 24 hour to 12 hour charging

The park authorities have already transitioned from the existing 24-hour fee validity system to a daily charging mechanism. Starting from the day of departure, if guests are not at the airstrip awaiting their scheduled flight or have not exited the park gate (for those driving) by 10:00 AM, extra day’s park fees will be applied.

This means that for late departures or guests with afternoon flights, additional day’s park fees will be incurred.
