Seventeen students from the Seychelles Tourism Academy are the first to be enrolled in the newly-launched Constance Ephelia chef’s academy training. They are following apprenticeship programmes at the Seychelles Tourism Academy (STA). The one-year training, which started on September 28, is aimed at simultaneously developing their culinary talents to promote the art within the local tourism industry and promoting Constance Hotels as a culinary training reference in Seychelles.

Among those present were Tourism and Culture Minister, Alain St Ange, STA principal, Flavien Joubert, STA patron, Claude Narain, lecturers, chefs from the Constance Ephelia, students and other distinguished guests.
The students will be trained by top chefs at the Constance Ephelia Resort, among whom executive chef Baube himself, chef Nicholas Heaviside, who is an assistant to the executive chef, chef Benjamin Painset, a chef de cuisine, who specializes in fine dining, chef Joel Constance and chef Reetesh, who are both chefs de cuisine.
