Nosy Be (Big Island in Malagasy) is a large tropical island, located off the North-Western tip of Madagascar, covering an area of 320 square kilometres. The island boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in the Indian Ocean, lined with coconut palms and caressed by turquoise waters, offering that remote, idyllic, tropical island experience that we all dream about. There are numerous quality hospitality properties located on Nosy Be, and accommodation options include many smaller islands located nearby, including Nosy Komba, Nosy Mitsio, Nosy Sakatia, and Nosy Tanikely.
Sea lovers will be able to indulge in their passions of world-class scuba diving and snorkelling, sport fishing, cruising on fully-crewed catamarans and sea kayaking or simply lazing on the beach. As the climate is mild, winds are moderate and the ocean is normally calm. Hoteliers and leisure activity service providers are proud, passionate and professional.

A visit to Nosy Be does not restrict you to one destination. As it is part of an Archipelago one is able to take day-trips or longer charters to enjoy the multiple smaller islands and bays in the area. With more than 5,000 quality hotel and lodge beds, Nosy Be caters for all tastes and budgets.
Air access to Nosy Be has historically been difficult, which has deterred visitation. Now, however, with Airlink’s weekly flight operating on Sundays directly from Johannesburg to Nosy Be, getting there is easy. Airlink looks forward to sharing with you the delights of Nosy Be.
