One of  Classic Africa Safaris’ favorite lodges in Buhoma town, Mahogany Springs Lodge, has undergone extensive refurbishments and is looking great! Recent CAS guest feedback is excellent and, as always, the Mahogany Springs cuisine is delicious and service is superb. Buhoma is located in the Northern Sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and provides easy access to gorilla trekking in the Buhoma area (with Ruhija area being the next closest about two hours away).

Some of the updates include:
• Expert interior designer who redesigned all the guest areas throughout the property as to breath new life, space, and serenity into the whole property. The result also increased guest comfort and convenience.
• The highest quality bed linen, drapes and furnishing upgrades.
• Extended the dining room, lounge and bar to increase space and allow for more areas for guests to enjoy.
• New furniture including custom-built sofas, tables and chill out areas.
• Local artisan products featured throughout the lodge.

The most exciting news is that the lodge has added the new Riverfront Suite featuring two bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms, a private lounge and panoramic terrace. Each of these bedrooms contains 2 king size beds. This room is overlooking the river and is absolutely breathtaking. This now brings the total room to 14.
